Baltimore Hebrew University, located in the heart of Baltimore's thriving Jewish community, is the only institution of higher learning in Maryland devoted solely to all aspects of Judaic and Hebraic studies. The University offers a master's and doctoral degree in Jewish studies and provides comprehensive preparation for careers through an MA in Jewish Education with teaching and administration tracks and an MA in Jewish Communal Service. Opportunities are available for students interested in combining their interests in Jewish education and Jewish communal service with a dual degree in social work through the University of Maryland School of Social Work; in public policy with University of Maryland Baltimore County and Johns Hopkins University(JHU) ; in education with Goucher College; or through a Certificate in Nonprofit Management at JHU. Students utilize the fully automated, online library, have access to excellent internship opportunities and job placement, and benefit from individualized programs and advisement. Intensive summer programs are also offered. Full- and part-time students are welcome..
