Describe the interns responsibilities.
American Pool Enterprises, Inc. is looking for a college-level individual currently studying marketing, communications, advertising or graphic design to work with the Director of Creative Communications on current, high-priority projects. The individual should be motivated to learn and interested in delving into a variety of assignments. This internship opportunity offers a unique hands-on experience that allows the participant to experience all aspects of departmental operations and creative project development. This summer internship will focus on sales and online marketing and will involve market research, assisting with magazine production and regional-based marketing strategies. Samples of previous work are a plus. Depending on skill level, tasks may include: *Assist with online marketing collateral *Develop creative marketing projects *Learn and assist with social networking strategies *Assist with editorial calendars for various publications *Working on budget analysis *Performing daily tasks associated with operations
Describe the skill sets a successful candidate will have for this position.
*Strong writing skills *Great eye for detail *Strong organizational skills *Currently studying marketing, communications, advertising, or graphic design *Experience with project management is a plus *Ability to use Adobe design software like Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator a BIG plus
