Servicing over 3,000 commercial swimming facilities and over 7,000 residential pools, American Pool Enterprises also employs over 5,000 lifeguards in addition to 250 full-time, year round employees.

Describe the interns responsibilities.

American Pool Enterprises, Inc. is looking for a college-level individual currently studying video production to work with the Director of Creative Communications on current, high-priority projects. The individual should be motivated, have an interest in building their portfolio and enjoy working outside/on location. This internship opportunity offers a unique hands-on experience that allows the participant to experience an in-depth video production project from planning, to shooting to editing. Samples of previous work or coursework are a plus. Depending on skill level, tasks may include: *Assist with planning, scripting and storyboarding short training/promotional videos *Experience the tasks associated with project management and planning *Assist on set with outdoor video shoots *Work with video editing software *Propose and execute project concepts *Get an inside look at the operations of a creative department *Assist directly with video productions from concept to execution *Build a portfolio of video projects

Requirements include: * Strong organizational skills *Great eye for detail and composition *Currently studying video production or similar major *Knowledge of Adobe video editing software *Ability to work with sound beyond basic audio recording and editing a plus
