What is the Organization's purpose/product/service?
Sassy Peacock is a celebration of all things fab! Its a girls night out filled with pampering, shopping, and beauty demos. The event is two fold: a fun night with the girls while raising money for a worthy cause, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central MD.
Describe the interns responsibilities.
We are recruiting for 3 different internships. Social media intern will work on producing fashion boards and posting content on our Social Media Accounts. Our PR Intern with work with PR partner on media pitching, and monitoring, Our Vendor Relations Intern will work with the Vendor coordinator to solicit vendors for the event. This Vendor internship will require traveling outside our event studio, as this intern will be meeting with area spas, shoe stores and boutiques.
Describe the skill sets a successful candidate will have for this position.
All interns must have an outgoing personality, excellent written and verbal communications skills. Each event must work the Day of the event, August 7th. NO EXCEPTIONS. All positions require a 10 to 15 hour commitment and can be done from home or our event studio
