What is the Organization's purpose/product/service?
Our mission is to provide homeless youth (18-24 years of age with children - under 5 yrs. old) a safe place to grow. We teach a multitude of skills to encourage, empower, and enhance the quality of their lives and prepare them for permanent housing.
Describe the interns responsibilities.
Grant Writer (2 each) – work closely with Director and other interns to generate funds for the housing unit, activities and outings.
Describe the skill sets a successful candidate will have for this position.
Enrolled in 4 year college, Bachelor’s Degree or Masters Degree, Social Work, Human Services, Public Policy, or any related field of study. Please have transcript. All interns must submit to a background check.
