Describe the interns responsibilities.

NewWave Telecom & Technologies, Inc. has a current internship opportunity in our Elkridge, MD office for a computer science/technical student to assist our IT Team in special technical projects. This position will be responsible for handling basic IT related tasks in support of the IT Department.

Describe the skill sets a successful candidate will have for this position.

This internship opportunity is for a highly motivated, creative student who works well independently and has IT support experience as well as experience designing software applications. Position will require strong analytical skills, experience using all MS Office applications, JAVA software development, and a variety operating systems. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are mandatory. Previous internship experience is desired, but not required. Student will be required to submit a sample project that demonstrates ability to design and develop documents. Students should be pursuing a Information Systems, Computer Science, or other technical degree.
