MileOne is a privately held company that currently owns and operates 65 car dealerships offering 28 brands, in Maryland, Washington DC, Pennsylvania and Virginia. In the Baltimore/DC area we own all of the Heritage, Herb Gordon, Saturn and Tischer dealerships.
Describe the interns responsibilities.
MileOne, the largest automotive group in the Mid-Atlantic is looking for an intern to assist our Marketing, Advertising and Recruiting efforts. This job is perfect for the student seeking to gain practical insight into the workings of a corporate marketing department. In addition, the intern will provide support to the Corporate Recruiter in a variety of tasks related to recruiting, evaluating potential candidates, working with an applicant tracking system and the employment processes. Responsibilities will include: • Compile usage reports • Proof reading • Web-based research • Writing and copy editing • Data entry • Uploading resumes into ATS • Evaluating resumes based on position criteria • Posting jobs on company website and job posting websites • Other related duties as assigned by the Marketing Department
Describe the skill sets a successful candidate will have for this position.
• Currently enrolled in bachelor's degree program or graduate; ideally with a background in Marketing or Human Resources • Strong ability to multi-task, handle details and to maintain organization • Excellent Customer Service skills with ability to communicate effectively • Understanding of professional office environment • Ability to maintain confidentiality and be discrete • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Abode Create Suite a plus!
