FEDERAL HILL MAIN STREET FESTIVALS
Several times a year, Federal Hill closes off Cross Street and some of the surrounding areas to throw street festivals highlighting local shops, artists, bands, and more. There's a Jazz and Blues Festival in June, a Street Beat Festival in October, a Spring Block Party, a Holiday Open House, and sometimes a few other, smaller wingdings at various times throughout the year. Most feature the usual ingredients -- local bands, merchandise stands, and open houses at the local restaurants, bars, and shops -- and all are a guaranteed good time.
