There are 25 state parks around Maryland where you can camp overnight, some of which even offer varying levels of amenities (from electric sewer and water hookups to full-service cabins) for those who aren't totally down with living like a survivalist. Many also host special programs like nature walks and campfire events, and the sightseeing at some of the parks is truly magnificent.
