Talk about bang for your buck -- for just 3 of ‘em, you can see the parchment on which Francis Scott Key scribbled our national anthem by the rockets red glare, one of three surviving Revolutionary War officer uniforms, and more than 7.5 million other artifacts and documents from Maryland's history. The MHS also offers a constantly changing schedule of temporary exhibitions, as well as lectures, workshops, and after-school programs.
