TOWSONTOWN SPRING FESTIVAL

Sponsored by the Towson Chamber of Commerce, this is one of the area's largest street festivals. The Towsontown Spring Festival features the standard lineup of attractions, including beer gardens, hundreds of vendors, face painting and pony rides for kids, and local bands on a few different stages. The nice thing about this one is that it tends to coincide with the end of the school year for most colleges, and the weather is usually considerably more pleasant than during some other fests that happen during the sometimes-withering Baltimore heat.
