Sitting in (very) dry-dock on the corner of Aliceanna and Boston Streets midway between the hopping nightspots of Fells Point and Canton, the big ”Love Boat”-looking restaurant known as the Captain James holds a special place in the hearts of anyone who has found themselves hungry in either neighborhood late at night. It's open 24 hours, you see, and you can get not only the greasy diner food you might expect to find at such an hour, but also a full range of high-dollar items like lobster and escargot. For added fun, order like a pirate: "Aargh… I'll take the escargot, matey." The wait staff loves it.
