THE DIAMONDBACK TAVERN

This locally owned and operated tavern in Ellicott City prides itself on being a true Maryland style tavern. The goal here is to be able to come to The Diamondback and enjoy a good meal and drink while watching your favorite team play or enjoying some live entertainment without breaking the bank.

The Diamondback has a classic Americana menu that features all your tavern staples, and some unique dishes you won't find anywhere else. The names sound fancy-shmancy, but you won't find any pretentiousness at this tavern, with a casual atmosphere and use of local ingredients keeps it truly a Maryland experience.

This tavern also is known for its great specials. On Mondays they offer a special discount just for those in the "Siren" field - meaning those in the EMT, Fireman, or Police profession - a tradition we think more restaurants should follow. Plus, every other Thursday there's live music, and a rotating list of drink specials that changes daily. And if you're a night owl The Diamondback is here to help, offering $1 drink specials during their Midnight Madness, happening from 12 - 1am every night.

One thing that makes this tavern unique is the addition of a brunch on Sunday. Come in from 10-2 on Sundays and enjoy delicious breakfast fare, from omelettes, to eggs benedict, to french toast.
