HELEN'S GARDEN

Helen's Garden prides itself on providing an upscale dining experience in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. With a menu and drink list that would make you feel like you should be wearing your finest duds, Helen's prefers that you be comfortable and their welcoming ambience allows diners feel casual and enjoy the food they are about to taste.

The lunch menu at Helen's is definitely worthy of the fine dining label. With exquisite sandwiches and burgers that go way beyond the normal hamburger or deli fare (for instance their Salmon burger that is grilled with tomatoes and spinach on ciabatta bread), and soups and salads that vary enough to tempt any taste buds, the most refined diner will find something to enjoy. Plus, they serve some egg dishes as well during their lunch hours, so those looking for a brunch option can also find something to enjoy. Their dinner menu is even more impressive. With unique entrees like catfish and trout, this restaurant holds nothing back in marketing itself as a fine dining location. But have no fear if those dishes scare you, because Helen's also offers some equally delicious fare including chicken picata, strip steak, and crabcakes. They don't hold back on their appetizers either with an extensive selection of upscale treats like fruits and cheeses, various dipping dishes, and spicy shrimp.

Their drink selection is extensive, and they actually provide you a list of the possible cocktails you can order - this is fantastic and will definitely be a time-saver when it comes to ordering and actually getting a drink the bartender knows how to make. (Too many times we've ordered a cocktail that the barkeep has no idea how to make and we end up feeling unsatisfied and we leave our waiter annoyed as we have to reorder something else.) Plus, Helen's has an affinity for Wednesdays with specials you'll have to see to believe. While Helen's is casual, it's still an upscale experience, so save up for this one or treat someone special to a great night out.
