With its full name being The Rumor Mill Fusion Bar & Restaurant, you know you're in for an eclectic combination of the best in American and Japanese cuisine when you dine at this newly revamped restaurant in historic Ellicott City.

With fresh ingredients, The Rumor Mill prides itself on providing an international cuisine that incorporates your favorite tastes from your hometown. Appetizers include Tuna Tar-Tar and Guacamole, Shrimp Wontons, and Calamari. Plus, with their small plate format, diners can enjoy a wider variety of sushi and hand rolls more easily.

Their bigger entrees continue the fusion theme with options like BBQ Rib Fingers presented prepared two different ways, and Orange Cashew Chicken that has been deconstructed so that the "orange" part of the chicken lies on top rather than being a chicken soaked in orange sauce. There are a ton of different options to choose from, and both meat-lovers and vegetarians alike will find something delicious to dine on.

As this restaurant gets its footing in its new locale, menu items will be added seasonally, and nightly specials will be added. We recommend trying their desserts - they are some of the most unique in town.
