SWALLOW AT THE HOLLOW

Swallow's just outside Belvedere Square typically comes to mind as a dive bar full of Loyola College students, but people all over North Baltimore are discovering why it won City Paper's Best of Baltimore award for Best Burgers.

Sure, it's even grimier in the sunlight, but that can be forgiven, especially on half-price burger days (Wednesdays and Sundays). There are very few places left where you can get a burger and beverage and leave a healthy tip for less than six bucks, let alone one of the best burgers in Balto.
