CJ'S CRABHOUSE AND GRILL
This local crab house has been a staple on the Baltimore scene - one in which there are dozens of crabhouses to choose from. The fact that it has sustained such acclaimed longevity speaks to the restaurant's quality.
CJs is a fun, casual, family atmosphere. Known for its home-made soups, and its extensive selection of Maryland favorites, CJS provides any true Baltimore seafood lover with plenty of options.
Entrees include crab legs, and baskets of seafood fare like popcorn shrimp and clam strips, in addition to burgers, pizzas, and steaks. Their menu also includes an extensive amount of seafood dishes to choose from - so much so that each type of seafood has their own section of the menu. Try lobster dishes, shrimp and scallop dishes, fish dishes, and of course plenty of crab dishes.
Though they don't have a lot of dessert items, we doubt you'd have room even if they did. Another bonus is that you can order your entree in a "small plate" size so you can have just half a portion of their normal dinner size. This is a great way to save some money and to be able to enjoy an appetizer along with your dinner and not feel too overstuffed.

Vacationing from NC, we decided to do a little exploring and found CJ's. After finding all the same old places we can get at home we decided to try them. What a FIND! Their crabs are out of this world!!! Caked in a clear-your-sinuses spice and steamed to perfection. We have never had crabs like this before. The waitress, Karla, showed us how to eat 'em and now we're pros. It will be VERY difficult to top these crabs. We will never eat just crab legs again. It is the whole Baltimore Crab or nothing for this North Carolina couple. Thanks, again, Karla, Terry & Courtney!!! P.S. They actually supply you with a weapon. Caution Ladies: ONLY TO BE USED ON THE CRABS, NOT HUSBANDS!!!
