HEAVEN'S GATE EATERY
Once the site of tent revivals held by Baltimore's Mt. Hebron Church of God in Christ, the Heaven's Gate Eatery was built over 1995 and 1996 on land that Mt. Hebron Pastor Henry Hunt bought from the city of Baltimore for a dollar. Now a haven for Southern and soul food, the Heaven's Gate dishes out ribs, catfish, lake trout, hogs moggs, chitterlings, and an assortment of sandwiches in platters that never cost more than $10.50.
