CANTON

Canton is booming these days as the waterfront development along the harbor continues to head east. Centered on an old-timey town square dotted with a nice and eclectic array of restaurants and pubs, (we like Gecko's for some late-night festivities) Canton also enjoys a reputation as a happening nightspot for collegiate revelers. Students don't have to travel far between stops as they enjoy delicious happy hour specials at Canton station, and then hop over for wings, burgers, and beer at Canton's Portside Tavern.

From Towson/North: Take I-83 S to the end. I-83 S becomes President St. Follow President St. to a left onto Fleet St. Follow Fleet St. through Fells Point to a right onto Boston St. Follow Boston St. to a left turn onto S. Lakewood Ave. Turn right onto O'Donnell St.

From the South:
From UMBC/South: Take I-95 N to the I-395 N exit, exit number 53, toward DOWNTOWN. I-395 N becomes S. Howard St. Turn right onto W. Pratt St. Follow Pratt St. to a right turn onto President St. Turn left onto Fleet St. Follow Fleet St. through Fells Point to a right onto Boston St. Follow Boston St. to a left turn onto S. Lakewood Ave. Turn right onto O'Donnell St.

From the East:
From Morgan State University/East: Take E. Cold Spring Ln. to a left onto Hillen Rd. Follow Hillen Rd. to a right onto Harford Rd. Turn left onto N. Broadway. Follow N. From the West:
