Padonia Station would be pretty much your standard sports bar were it not for the slightly salacious streak that reveals itself when you look a little closer at the details of, say, their Monday Night Football parties. Cheap Budweiser? Check. All-you-can-eat wings? Yup. Halftime show featuring performers on loan from a local strip club? Uh, come again? On most nights, the entertainment is provided by local DJs and bands, and on Thursdays the Station kicks it Ricky Martin-style (with all that implies) in its weekly La Vida Loca nights: half-price margaritas, all-you-can-eat Mexican buffet, and dollar beers from the renowned Mexican brewing company Coors. And for those who prefer to leer uninterrupted by the relative gentility of football games, there are the occasional “Miss Hawaiian Tropic” contests, at which bikini-clad locals compete for the coveted title based on such criteria as “stage presence” and “poise” -- also, we hear, important prerequisites for employment at the other place where Padonia Station's halftime performers work.

Sorry to be the partypooper but there is nothing special about Padonia Station. Mediocre food, the only good drink specials are Thursday nights for $1 Miller Lite, and the servers/bartenders aren't that great or even good-looking. Not to mention the people who frequent this place.
