NATIONAL AQUARIUM IN BALTIMORE
One of Baltimore's most beloved treasures, the National Aquarium is a wonderland of walk-through exhibitions featuring a kaleidoscopic array of marine life and other animals. In addition to the shark tank, seal pool, and dolphin show, there's also a living rainforest populated by birds, lizards, and dry-land creatures like the tamarin monkey. The aquarium building itself -- a gigantic glass pyramid -- is difficult to miss in the Inner Harbor, and with good reason: the National Aquarium in Baltimore is not to be missed.
