BALTIMORE MARATHON AND RUNNING FESTIVAL
The Baltimore Marathon, held every October, is actually several events in one. There's a marathon, a half-marathon, a 5K, a four-person relay, and a kids' fun run, all of which culminate in a big celebration outside Ravens Stadium featuring live music, games, food, and all the Gatorade your poor, exhausted body can metabolize. Whether you're there to compete, to enjoy a pleasant jog through the city with a few thousand others, or just to cheer on someone in better shape than you, it's a fun way to spend a fall day.
