WESTMINSTER HALL AND BURYING GROUND
If the dark and brooding ghost of Edgar Allan Poe haunts Baltimore, he does it from right beside this magnificent 19th-century church. He's buried there, you see, along with many of Baltimore's founding fathers, four mayors, a few Revolutionary War heroes, and other colorful characters from Baltimore's past. Westminster Hall is no longer used for religious services, but you can take a tour of the building, the grounds, and the super-spooky catacombs by reservation.
