INDOOR ROCK CLIMBING AT EARTH TREKS
The Earth Treks Climbing Centers, located in Timonium and Columbia, are the two largest indoor rock climbing centers on the east coast. Both facilities feature expert instruction, over-stocked climbing specialty shops, and wildly energetic staff.
The climbing center in Timonium features huge 51 foot high climbing walls and over 19,000 square feet of climbing surface. They're very easy to find with access just off of I-695 near Towson and a light rail stop just outside of thefront door (the Timonium Business Park stop).
Bring in a copy of your current undergraduate schedule and receive $3 off of the day climbing pass ($13 instead of $16).
The climbing center in Columbia features 44 foot high walls and over 15,000 square feet of climbing surface. It's convieniently located just 5 minutes off of I-95 in Columbia.
