LACROSSE MUSEUM AND NATIONAL HALL OF FAME

One thing Baltimore is known for is lacrosse. The Greater Baltimore metropolitan area has become a hot bed for college recruits and college lacrosse champions rarely come from anywhere outside this region of the country.

So, it's only fitting that Baltimore plays home to a Lacross Museum and the sport's National Hall of Fame. The museum takes a look back at the origins of the sport, starting with the days of Native Americans, and takes visitors on a journey through time as they make their way to the present world of highly competitive and professional lacrosse. There are plenty of visual exhibits, but make sure to check out the interactive ones as well!

Plus, check out the individuals who made the sport into the action-packed competition it is today in the National Hall of Fame. From the players and coaches who gave their hearts to the sport before it became a spotlight on national television, to the athletes and leaders who competed on sports grandest stage at the NCAA Final Four during peak ESPN times coverage, these individuals have given something great to the sport of lacrosse and are honored for it here.
