One of the last of the old-time movie houses in America, the Senator screens first-run movies on a gigantic screen in a 900-seat art deco auditorium -- and occasionally hosts premieres and other special events featuring local cinematic luminaries such as Edward Norton, Barry Levinson, and, of course, John Waters.

The ONLY movie house I've been & never had a problem trying to watch a film! That aside, it's got an absolutely huge screen, great sound & comfy chairs. The place is family run and they have a strong sense of community responsibility & spirit. Do yourself a favor & check them out!
